The Mansfield Wetlands are situated on the western approach into town and run for just over a kilometre along the north side of the Maroondah Hwy.

The walking trail begins on the old railway track at the Mansfield Visitor Information Centre, where car parking is available.

A full circuit of the Mansfield Wetlands is approximately 1.5km and you should allow 45 minutes. Seating, viewing platforms and a bird-hide are located along the route.
